I hope u meant nitrogen not nitrous and don't see any advantages of it anyway. As for the tunnel plate it's really easy. I lifted the car tires about 6" in the air ,and jack stands. I was already gonna double up tunnel plate so the h-pipe had to come off. Real easy remove 4nuts at the manifolds, then loosen band clamps at the rear for axle section, then remove two spring mount screws by trans. Separate joint at the header area. If your gonna just coat the plate then remove you'll have enough room. If your gonna do the h-pipe then remove completely from axle tubes. I recommend doing the h-pipe. To reinstall slip the exhaust back together before u try to mount up the header area. Then tighten the header area before the slip joint then the spring mount. All in all should only take a hour or two depending on how mechanically inclined. Only need basic tools, and a torque wrench inch pounds for the tunnel plate. Any good mechanic should have one. If you change you oil and even your brakes u should have no problem. Good luck.

Too funny "where was my brain" maybe a shot of nitrous will make it go faster! Anyhow! It does not sound to hard I'm wondering if I can't find somewhere to put the ceramic on if I could just line it with some heat resistant type of insulation. Also mine has the Corsa exhaust system would that be any different up that far? I can't really check anything right now I took it in for PA inspection and while it's there was getting a coolant, trans flush & rear lube change and they found I have coolant leak and parts will not be in to Monday or Tuesday to they get it finished.

Yes they sell a reflective matting that has a sticky side. I purchased from summit about 30 bucks is a 2'x3 piece. You want to cut it about a inch short around the perimeter so it doesn't interfere with the bolts. Just my opinion but after hearing the exhaust u have I found half your problem. I fabricate with metals a lot and know that stainless holds and radiates heat at least 3 times more than regular steel. I love how stainless looks but the heat retention isn't good for us. Nothing to do with it but I bought hooker mufflers, used the stock axle tubes, cut, welded and put some rectangle tips. Want to say in my opinion it BLOWS EVERYTHING I've heard on sound clips, person, anywhere. Sounds quiet rumble at idle, nice and throaty opened up,and no I repeat,NO droning. Could buy four systems with everything coated for the overpriced Corsa. Sorry I just think a lot of people get misinformed, also a lot don't have the experience and when inquiring a lot are directed to the cookie cutter line. Sorry I'm new to the forum and haven't been able to get real answer out of a lot of members. Seems people don't wanna help or give worthy answers and I thought that's what this was for. Inform and maybe help the misinformed. I think the Corsa is good stuff just real pricey for my blood. Full throttle

Being that you are new you've got to realize we've heard the majority of problems/questions that owners have a multitude of times. If you were to spend some time checking older posts and doing some searching I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have to ask very many questions. We are here to help when we can, but God helps those who help themselves, give it a try.

My bad I thought the forum was for information and help from the masses not cocky answer that people like u keep giving. People don't need to hear those answers they would rather hear real answer to their problem's.
