Thank you,

I understand what you are saying but you must not understand what I said or maybe I didn't make myself clear. I maybe should have stated if you are in Cadillac Customer Service you can get the question or problem to the correct person at Cadillac that can become involved with the dealer on behalf of the owner of the XLR and get the problem solved. I am glad you are on the forum so you can see the problems posted and know what some of the owners are putting up with at the dealers. Thanks, Robert

I appreciate any input. I think we all are just looking for some guidance on what actually can be done. I am not blaming anyone but the designer of the unit.
That being said: If the dealer replaced the blowers in both seats and I observed no noticeable improvement...what else can be done or requested.
I joined this site because everyone was friendly and helpful. Let's keep things moving in that direction.

Bruce, can you tell me what the sealed item under the seats is in the photos I took? Is it the thermoelectric module? If not, where is the TE located? I noticed that the sealed whatever rubs along the carpet as the seat moves forward. Thanks.

I have 2007 and the driver seat cools fine but nothing on the passenger side. Does anyone know if this is a warranty item? I also have an EXT Truck and the cooling seat system is killer.

It would be warranty as long as your XLR is still under the 4yr 50000 mile warranty or you have CPO warranty. Take it down to Peacock on I 45, I have had good luck with their service dept.

The seat cushion TEC module is located on the front/top/forward part of the seat. It has an oval plastic flange at the output that directs air to the channels in the foam seat cushion. I've took a bunch of high-rez shots (aren't posting, so they may be too large.) If you need any, PM me with an email address and I'll forward one to you that clearly shows the TEC.
