I even made the Yahoo Page!

There were a couple of minor mistakes and one BIG One. Paula was not mentioned despite my request twice to credit her and acknowledge all of her hard work. She was quite dissapointed.

Thank you fro your kind comments on FB. YOU GUYS made the event!

What a terrific article! I'm so sorry that Paula wasn't mentioned ... but we all know BOBFEST would not happen without all she does as well. Thank you again, to BOTH OF YOU - for a wonderful event! Looking forward to next year.

Missy Bling and 5AM have yet to apporve the release of my photos from this event. (I don't think they ever will; just like my NCH photos were banned- I can't help it if the libations flowed so freely)

But on another note, look what I found on page 16 of Automotive Traveler Magazine

Too bad the editor, Richard Truesdell, didn't come talk to any of us. He might have learned this was not our first FunFest.

I never considered myself to be in drag, a corvette wannabe, or anything other than a Cadillac XLR owner.

I like the 'ultra-lux cousin' part.

I sent him a message on their website asking for a correction from "for the first time" to "since 2008", didn't think to backhand him for the "corvette in drag comment".

Hah! I've heard Corvette say worse things than that! You know, many XLR owners have owned Corvettes - some still do - It's those who haven't had the pleasure .....

I sure felt like I was dragging a few Corvettes behind me on my way there considering the numbers that I passed. Not a single 'Vette passed me.

I heard a rumor that we were referred to as "Corvette wannabes" during the opening ceremonies. I can't say if it was true or not.

There were a lot of nice comments by the people that came around. The few negative things I've heard or read have not bothered me.

I doubt if they all had as good a time as we did! I wish I had a video of the entrance parade spectators from when we got there.
