And, ladies, there's a spa at the Hershey hotel that has awesome chocolate spa treatments. Of course, with champagne and chocolate!

Batgirl (Kathi) and Lil XLR8r (Devon) Glad to hear you are interested. I will add you to the list.
Yes, Hershey Hotel (4 star status) has a great spa but there are also a few specialty spas in the area, if you all are interested.
For those who have not been up in this area of the country in the past few years we also have a casino and horse track nearby for those who feel they want to beat the bank.
With these two ladies, et al we now have 11 XLRs and 1 Vette. This should be a good time. Details to come.

I am only 16, my dad is the one who has the car, and I think you already have him down on the list. (Chicago Dave?) And so I was just agreeing that it would be a fun trip.

Got it Lil Xlr with Chicago Dave.
Folks we might be looking at the first or second week in June. The weather in May is very unpredictable and many have indicated that the end of the month is bad due to business commitments.

Second week would probably be better for Cubby and I. Just a thought but I will work with what ever the group decides.

Either week would be good for me. If my dad would have to take off at least a day or two, I think the second week would be better due to the fact that he can't take off at the beginning or end of the month.

The 2nd week would be better for me (and further away from Devin's High School graduation - which we are anticipating next year )

First week would be better for us. But we'll have to see what the majority says, then we'll take a look and see if that week works.

Folks above are some links to the attractions for the tourist season in Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster. Some of the functions require that we have at least 15 participants for group rating however, we can cross that bridge when we get to it.
There is also an AACA museum in Hershey and Bob Walker has graciously offered to try to get us access to a gentlemen who has an extensive private collection of vintage cars.
I will be making a trip today and tomorrow to do site visits at hotels to check parking conditions for our exceptional vehicles.
On the calendar it looks like June 9-16, 2012 will fit the bill the best for most. As with any group function certain days work for some and not others. Please do not take it personally if these days do not work for you. I would have liked to done the last week in May to have the memorial day as an extra but was reminded of family functions and graduations.
Stay tuned. Dave

Thanks Dave

Based on the price concerns many PM'd about I have located the below listed hotels. Gettysburg: Hampton Inn Gettysburg, 1280 York Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325; PH: (717) 338-9121, rates starting at $109.00 / night. Harrisburg / Hershey: Holiday Inn Express East, 4021 Union Deposit Road, Harrisburg, PA 17109; PH: (717) 561-8100, rates starting at $117.00 / night.
Once I have a head count I will attempt to negotiate a group rate discount and secure XLR Parking area. Gettysburg: If all arrive on Saturday, June 9, 2012. We will only be there one (1) full day. I had checked out Segway tours, Confederate Trails of Gettys (horseback), Dwight D Eisenhower Farm and Battlefield Tours. There are civil war era restaurants in the area that are very nice also.
Monday, June 11, 2012 will be picture day at the peace light memorial and devil's den before we depart north toward Harrisburg / Hershey. We have been invited to stop at a local Cadillac / Hummer dealer on the way. Harrisburg / Hershey: Our base for the rest of the week will be the Holiday Inn Express (east side of Harrisburg). Hershey is about 15 miles from the hotel. Hershey has the Hotel Gardens and Butterfly house, Chocolate World, Milton Hershey Museum (make your own candy bar), State Police Academy Tour, AACA Museum, Private car collection tour, Hershey Park, local wineries and breweries. (pictures with the cars at the state capital fountain) Lancaster: Amish country (Bird in Hand, Intercourse), breweries and wineries, Amish dining experience (family style). Dealer visit where they intend to do something for us for stopping.
Anyone with contacts to local XLR owners make sure you invite them to join us or PM me their information.
If anyone has something particular they would have in mind let me know as none of the daily activities have been finalized at this point.

At this point (a year away), we're IN (so you can take a headcount).
What about a trip to York for a tour at the H-D factory?
