I'm curious where Cadillac XLR owners live who have had issues with roof delamination. Please respond to this thread with the following:

    1. Location - Where in the U.S. do you live?

    2. Model Year of your XLR

    3. What type of driving in your XLR do you do: year round? Summer only?
    Rob,
    Live in Ohio
    2004
April-November. About 3000 miles per year
2 years ago, coming back from Columbus and heard loud whistling noise. Inspected roof. Could see where the middle had popped up on front side and a slight mark from being in folded position was contacting the frame. Had local body shop that works on fiberglass glue it down with a super adhesive and that fixed it.

That seems to be, my 07 has 200000+ and most of that at 75 to 85 on the highway. No problems so far with the top lifting.

2004 Silver with 33k miles. Central Florida. She has been a garage queen. I heard a loud bang and wind noise going down the turnpike. When I stopped at the service plaza the front leading edge of the roof was separating. GM covered it and replaced the roof.

End of January is when it happened. I posted about it in 2Wheelwrench roof separation post.
