My trunk bumpers deteriorated. Bought new ones. Looking for a procedure to set the depth of the rubber cones. The bolts are nearly 2” long. Original screwed in all the way. Any help would be appreciated.

My 2005 XLR gauge goes to a little over half from full (after approximately 200 mile) and then to empty. Still has about 8 gallons in the tank. DIC saids Service Fuel System. Stalled out about 30 miles later. Will the Techron help with half a tank. Any thoughts would be appreciated

It was suggested to let the gas tank go down near empty an then put the Techron in. My car dies with about 7 gallons left in it. Any suggestions

Because the noise was just coming from the driver side vents, I took my air compressor nozzle blew the air in from all vents outlets. Some debris came flying out. No more squealing. Problem solved. Waiting for the next problem to occur. ��

Turned on the AC for the first time this year (always drive with top down). Hydraulics is on the fritz. Fortunately the top is secure, but I need the AC on now. Any thoughts about stopping the noise. I also noticed that if I cover the center vent on the drivers side the noise gets muffled, but...

IAN, You were right on. The dealer found the latch mechanism corroded. The drains were both plugged causing water to get in both the trunk and the left / right rear compartments. Replaced the latch mechanism so at least the trunk opens and the top goes down. Still concerned about that excess...

IAN, Thanks for the input. I just had the trunk latch replaced because it was corroded. Still trying to figure why the current dropped from 400ma to an acceptable 14ma when I pulled the trunk lid/parking solenoid B fuse. Not even sure what it is. The common problem of the battery draining...
