If the reason was for failure was because the drain tube was clogged and it got saturated I would just toss it. Not easy bringing those electronics back to life. Bruce

Correct, 04 & 05 use different components than 06 & up. Do some internet shopping, but watch the shipping prices.

Correct, the connectors complete a circuit. You either need to jumper some pins, I forget which, or plug the bad module in. You are not out of the woods yet. Bruce

I dealt with them also, but they are in my backyard. I would suggest sending a picture of the offending area and try and get their reading on it. They seem up & up though. Bruce
