I just noticed you live in Harrisburg Pa. I stayed there a couple of weeks ago on my way to NYC to help get the power back on. Nice city. We stayed at the crown point downtown. Nice hotel but it was a little tough to find parking for the bucket trucks.
problem solved
To my embarrassment I have solved the fob problem thanks to the previous post. First let me say I am an electrician, a troubleshooter at that. I eliminated the battery because it would open the trunk from 50 feet away. I took it to 2 friends at dealerships, very good mechanics...
I watched a show the other night called shark tank. A guy on there invented a door lock that works like that but with an IPhone. They bought it and plan to bring it to market. I will sure buy it if it comes out.
Here lately, when I get in my XLR and hit the start button it says no fob detected. It also does it when I push it again to stop it. If I scoot forward in the seat 4 inches everything works fine. I keep it in my right pocket with nothing else. It is not the fob or the battery because the doors...
I did that about 6 months ago. I don't know it's the disk because it's hit and miss. It seems to do it more when it's hot, about all the time here lately. The reason I think it's the disk is that when it does it I can take it out and put in a movie and it will play fine. After I had it polished...
I think my nav disk is crapping out. It works sometime and others it says no nav disk installed. I don't use the nav but I want the map on the screen. Does anyone have an old nav disk they want to sell after they upgraded. I hate to spend $200 on a new disk since I don't use it.
There is a pressure relief valve on the pump. If you open it and wait 20 seconds everything on the top and trunk will move easily. If you look in your manual it will show the procedure. Everyone should know this invade it stops halfway up in the middle of nowhere. Believe me, this is experience...
I would go with the zinc plated rotors. I bought mine on eBay for $240 including ceramic pads. I had a local shop install them. They are drilled and slotted also and really look great. They have been on the car about a year and a half and still look new. Plus, I have all new brakes on the car...
We went to Tampa yesterday. We drove from Evansville to Nashville with the top down to fly to Tampa. We come here every year. Never did that before in march. Pretty cool.
