GM and most other manufacturers don't make their own anti-freeze... Prestone probably makes all the Dex-Cool regardless of whether it says GM or Prestone, etc on the jug. Same goes for other fluids, such as oil.

Is your FOB near your cell phone when trying to start the car? Maybe interference exists? Once I had that issue, then set the FOB in the cup holder and the car started. Just taking a shot at it? :dunno:

While never having an issue with water leaking into the trunk, I did take a preventative measure of storing a large pile of cleaning, microfiber towels in the trunk corner to absorb any possible water leaking into that area. Just a thought to prevent an issue.

Have you or the previous owner(s) ever had the windshield replaced? If so, many glass techs have not had much experience on replacing the windshield on a XLR or a C6 Corvette. Hence they are unfamiliar with removing the rear view mirror correctly.....and by doing it wrong causes the internal...
