    Beautiful car!!

Beautiful, if I wasn't so old I would consider buying it. I have enough problems driving the two I have to keep them in tip top condition, now have 25,000 miles on the XLR and 2,700 on the DTS.

    News: Memory setting keeper

I had my battery disconnected from April to September last year and only had to re-index the windows. Everything else stayed as it was before.

News: I don't like this one bit!

I totally agree with the above post and another thing that concerns me is the removal of the American Flag from the Tail of Air Force One and the current campaing slogan for Obama being painted on the body of Air Force One. Of course that doesn't surprise me since he doesn't wear the American...

    How Many Miles?

7500 per year is considered low miles by most insurance companies. I have almost 25,000 on my '06. My DTS will be a year old next month and I have 2,500 miles on it, now that is really low miles.

My Fault Top Issue that becomes body issue

I am certain a good body shop will be able to fix it and you will never know it was cracked. If you were in Colorado Springs I would highly recommend Red Noland Collision Center, they are the best.

Cadillac/LaSalle Club Steak Cookout Ventured out today to the Steak Cookout, fifty miles up and fifty miles back, had a great time, lots of good food and to say the least the people are the best. They took good care of me. Over fifty people attended. I baked an Apple Pie and I don't know how...

Will look forward to seeing you and Ray again. Maybe you should think about moving to AZ to keep me in line. I plan to do what I am told and do not want a repeat of what I just went through, it was not a fun time and boy I learned being alone when something like that happens is pretty scary...

Thanks Rod, yes it could have been worse, thankful the paramedics came so quickly. Guess I am going to have to learn the lesson again about not trying to do everything myself. It is so hard when you know how to do things to hire someone to do them for you. Also need to learn no to be so...

Trip to Prescott. I took a trip, however not the one I planned on. Had to call 911 Thursday night, was transported to Banner Gateway Hospital. Saturday morning was transported to Banner Heart Hospital. They did and angioplasti to see how much damage was done to my ticker this time. My...

I won't know until the trip how many will be Allante's and how many XLR's. There are several members of the Association that also belong to the Cadillac/LaSalle Club and several have XLR's. I have found everyone to be really great, fun people to be around and we all love and are proud of our...

    Wind deflector

Red Noland Cadillac in Colorado Springs ordered my Wind Screen for me. It works great, easy to put on and take off and makes no noise. I think it was $600.00, money well spent. Looks classey and has been on my XLR about 4 years now. It is OME.

Today was a perfect weather day, washed "Little Bugger" and then washed "Big Bertha" They both really needed it. The XLR now has 24,000 miles on it and the DTS has 2,400 on it. This is the first time for me to wash the DTS, it looks so much better than when the dealer does it as I do it all by...

    Newbie in Kansas City

I would not sell my '06 with 24,000 miles for $45,000. People need to remember in the six years of production only 16,600 of the XLR's were produced, makes them pretty rare. I still get a lot of great co mments when I take "Little Bugger" out to do errands, he still looks brand new.

    The Weather Channel

You just don't know how happy I am that I am in AZ. Take "Little Bugger" out all the time with the top down. My 3 Ash trees shed all their leaves and two weeks later they are growing their new crop. 68 degrees today, don't have to worry about shoveling snow.:lol::lol:
