Al & Phrede, all in fun, I was having a good time with the million dollar question. I thought I knew my book backward and forwards, guess not. I remember back in 06 when I sat in my driveway with the car running going through the manual page by page trying everything for about two days, I must...
Now I understand why you are called Madmac:laugh: Why don't you throw in there, it's raining or their is an earthquake?:chuckle Actually there is no answer because you have made it an open ended question. There was no mention of what day it was therefore the question should be null and void...
Not sure I do know, do you know how much it takes to do the job? Is 20oz. overkill? I'm not a chemist so I don't think I'm qualified to go any deeper in this conversation. All I did was offer the information to those in need, I wasn't looking for a argument. I think the 100 degree heat is...
I would have to go with Phrede on this one. It just makes sense not to push the envelope. Pilots push it doing a loop and every once in a while plant their faces in the ground. I'll push the yellow button. We all have our own choices. Good choice Phrede. I was also told by a tech in BG in 07 at...
I've run with a CTS coupe going to Vegas and it was like running with the bulls, one minute I'm ahead then he's ahead then me. I have a lot of upgrades and have been dynode by D3 and had shifts points changed to compensate for the extra HP and I did notice that he had pulling power over me, but...
I've always said that my V could change lanes without touching the ground. I had to do a similar move and my passenger said, "what just happened?".
I was contemplating cutting my hood and installing a heat extractor & stopped into to Chevrolet to find out how much the heat extractor on the hood...
6:56 PM you ask for advise on the widest tire and yell HELP, 7:10 PM you say you've gone with something already. Do you want help or not? I have run 255/35R20's for 8 years on my 06-V, I went one size wider on the advise of a tire store, took a long trip and both rear tires tore up the inner...
I too apologies to others for hijacking and truly understand your frustration dealing with SMT (slow moving targets), especially those that think they are the only ones on the road. What ever got you on that highway Tim? Unless you were looking for Julian where they make those great pies...
Wow, wait a minute. You have the same people you just described in Colorado. The flatlanders would be snow birds up there. The trick is to have a V and you would have been long gone. Was that north 79 towards Winchester or south by Pechanga casino. That city doesn't have an H on the end of its...
Adviser
I believe that would be the advisers job to write down all your concerns that you discussed with him, so with that said, I think you should have a talk with your sleepy adviser. Who wants to keep dragging their car in because they don't do their job right. Time is valuable to...
Selling?
I'm not a fan of black either, I might be interested in selling mine for the right price. Vehicle is a 06-V in platinum with 20" Chip Foose 5 spoke deep dish chrome rims and brand new Dunlop sticker tires and brakes, custom two tone shale & black interior with dark red piping...
Next time I'm running through Reno to my daughters in Fallon, I'll email you so you can stand out on I-80 and I'll wave to you. Have your camera set 80MPH.:blinzel: There's always a smart ass somewhere & I qualify.
With a change in exhaust you could measure & make a cardboard design until it fits then have it made. A corvette plate would fit as long as you haven't changed the tips very much. I had one on my 04:dunno:
Member wanted dimensions of my XLR-V exhaust plate, thought I would share. Click to enlarge.
Plate slides in on top of exhaust pipes & as it passes the bumper, raises to vertical & drops in behind the tips & the wings rest on the exhaust pipes. Will not come out unless you want to polish it.
