How well does the wind restrictor work?

Windrestictor Fun in the sun, I took a detour to Dallas on my way to Rendezvous II in Bowling Green back in 07 and had the Wind Restrictor installed as a promotional deal and most everyone has bought the Wind Restrictor advertised on this forum based on what they saw in person at Bowling Green...

    Antique and Collectable Tires

Jack Daniel filets at TGIF Fridays Ken, Sounds like we can get a few bottles or cases of JD and head for the Big Smokys and get blitzed and maybe we can get to see Smokie the bear or his ghost. I think he passed on. Love those mountains:patriot:

    Going broke

About the same in Californy. My work has dropped to 2 or 3 days a week, which keeps the bills paid. The Govenater just announced an increase in state taxes, while kids from schools beg at super markets for money to help them with their sports programs. The coach was there and he said we just...

    Rotors & Pads 16,000 miles

While I appreciate all this information, I already have the cart in front of the horse.:pat: I was trying to teach my daughter about taking care of her car, the minute you know it needs fixin instead of buying clothes or a do over of her bedroom but it seems I'm the one that has learned to ask...

    Rotors & Pads 16,000 miles

I know we haven't discussed to many brake problems in the four years I've been on here, but at 16,000 my adviser put all new rotors and pads under warranty which to this day I don't know how he pulled that off. Sad to say he is a victim of the economy and was let go. Just turned 35,000 and heard...

    New DISCOVERY With NAV SCREEN!

Navigation system I'm all for finding news ways of using the nav system but cannot find the original thread for this discussion. I've tried this on my V but it won't work. Then there was the menu one where you put your finger nail somewhere on the screen and a new menu comes up. Can anyone help...

    Tire size

I'd say stock wheels only or they will bulge out and not look good and you will be dealing with possible rubbing on the inner liners. It's tough to shell out money for wider tires and have things go wrong.

    Help! Wheel Spacer???

Jack, I've tried spacers before and not with much luck. Always had a shimmy regardless how well they where balanced. No more spacers on my cars, just to much of a headache

    New wheels and tires installed

Jack, That's another good point about loading the trunk up. I'd love to have the wider tires but since I have 20's all around I wouldn't want the same size up front so I'm happy with the 255's and the Foose rims and can rotate the tires as needed.

    New wheels and tires installed

Rich, Tire size was 275/35Z/R20 Foose Speedsters: the width is 5x120x8.5 and offset is 45

    New wheels and tires installed

You can measure the space while sitting still, but in reality, when your car is going up and down on uneven pavement, or getting into the great HP, you will no longer have three inches of clearance, so I guess I better jump in here to help clarify things. The Foose speedsters might actually be...

How well does the wind restrictor work?

Just a thought as to why you had water on the outside of the windrestictor. Sounds like you didn't wipe down the trunk lid before you raised it to put the top up and you probably got some water in the trunk and also splashed the outside of the acrylic windrestrictor.:dunno:

    Service Stabilitrack on DIC

Thanks for the concern but I just put it in neutral and shut it off while driving, then restart and it goes away. Kinda like lighting the afterburners on an F-18.:pat:

Greed, not unions, brought GM down

Good grief ladies I wasn't referring to any ladies as witches. It all had to do with everyone getting a laugh out of the way I spelled Witchcraft. I can't spell check from my IPhone which is why I made an error in spelling Witchcraft. People have gotten awful sensitive since SA. I wonder why?:pat:

    Drive down to Dallas

Tony, You have so many choices. One would be a little longer by driving down the #101 along the Pacific Ocean which is gorgeous, (watch out late in the day for logging trucks, especially at the curves), they don't stop for anything or no one. When you get near San Fran. work your way over to the...

We expect quality built auto's, you don't get that from non union workers, that's why I paid $100,000 for a V. Just my .02.
