APDTY 143136 Shift Cable Replacement Bushing Kit With Install Tool I could not get the Trans to go into park by manually shifting the trans by hand. I suspect ether the bcm or the tcm is not working (fuse, relay, or module it's self) strange it was fine when I pulled into the garage. The car...
Well I ran into the same situation; but different I finally got rid of the P0174 code (required intake manifold rubber connection, clean injectors reseal the plenum and retorque, maf, throttle body, map, filters, air diffuser ( some bozo tightend the clamps to tight it crushed the outlet...
I was able to access the shifter bushing from the inside of the car you will have to remove the 4-10mm bolts and can install the bushing a bit tricky but can be done. Keep in mind the cable is a weak are so do not flex it much. Update the new guy (me) kinked mine by trying to install the bushing...
I know anwsering another old post; I have spent hours on my lenses and still look like mierda putting in nicely. would really like to know if anyone have found someone to make replacement lenses yet! These cars are very unique everything is discontinued and no one is working on after market?
Haveing the same "bad" luck with my 05 XLR base have replaced the Maf,map, air filters, air diffuser throttle body and gasket check for leaks and still can not get rid of the dam P0174 code am calling an XLR expert here in Phoenix to maybe get a reflash the ecm have a tech 2 but to complicated to...
Well took it in today for emission test light stayed off right up to the time I pull into the test bay, replaced everything from air filters to throttle body retested for leaks. Now calling an xlr expert to maybe to the reflash. Boy this really pi** me off!
I would be glad to pay $60.00 for a lense as they are discontuined. Hoping someone has come up with an after market version that plastic will not hold up for this manys years. At present time only way to install them is to superglue them back in place and hope the bulb never has to be replaced!
I take most advise with a grain of salt; it is better to do the research before getting started so that you do not buy parts that will not be needed. Being a new bee have found some absoulte crap done to mine. Mostly lack of maintenance simple things like changing the cabin filter, air filters...
Sorry bout that I have a 4.6 base here is what I was writting about located at bottom and the rubber sleeve going to the throttle body worth checking out this connection requires sliding the rubber over the top using something to lift the rubber over that edge
I (thought) I had found what was causing mine; removed all ducting from the filter to the throttle body, replaced filters, MAF, MAP, and if like mine the air diffuser (some anamal had crushed the bottom opening) then finally the throttle body and gasket removed the fuel rail cleaned the...
Just to follow up with the service done on my 2005; I played with my tech 2 and screwed up the system. Trunk wouldn't open dic top not secure. made an appointment with Legens Had the car for 1/2 hour and everything working again. $360.00 also pointed me in the direction clearing the dic codes...
I know it's again an old post; The importance is that in reading brings to attention the need to research who is doing the work! After the horrible work story's and the qurky XLR I found a shop who specializes in XLR's and in fact was part of the developement team who wrote the software and is...
I have been reminded (more than once) that a thread is years old left me feeling like the information being provided had no use. I understand not to expect a return repley as the date was years old. Just a reminder there are a few newbes who just bought one of these gems and wish to learn from...
Aware that no matter what year then need for information, parts still exist! Yes a newbe to this car and is or has become a project car requiring many upgrades; to date have replaced lower grill, new rear view mirror seats refreshed and dash pad cleaned up the headlight and fog lenses. Hoping to...
