Removed the unit and the problem went away. Maybe a bad unit or just a compatibility issue with my car. Regardless, I returned it, got my refund, and will just do without it. Not that big a deal to me.

When I cycle my roof up and down the right side actuator that moves the tonneau cover in and out leaks like crazy. The left side actuator looks like it's starting to leak as well. Has anyone attempted to replace this actuator? I hate to give the car to the dealer, their service is terrible.

I own an '04 and have this same issue. It happens maybe 50% of the time - the trunk slowly closes by itself. This is a known problem with the '04 models and am interested to know what the fix is.
