    New paint.

Since you can't get headlights anymore, the call for bumper covers will probably never exceed the number of bumper covers in stock.

May be an interesting read about On-Star services

There are alternatives that do the exact same thing and they are cheaper per month. Like the Verizon Hum.

    Cell phone mount project

Take the insert out of the center council that's too small for real cups, you will end up with a larger square long cubby hole now that you can use a suction cup phone holder in. You still have room for one cup in front of it too.

WTF he couldn't find another spot?

FCDS (Fancy Car Derangement Syndrom) is a terrible thing. Had some handicap person pull up next to me in the Best Buy parking lot complaining I was parking in a handycap spot. I asked him where the blue stripes, or the handycap sign was, if he could point them out. He looked for a bit then said...

Help! Drain on trunk mounted electronic components

Most of the ones I've seen like that have a front corner tire ramp they want you to drive in to, then your tire goes back on the floor placing you in only one place before the wash starts. And the ramp has a bar next to it that's too high for such a low car. Maybe I'll look around for newer ones.

    Wind screen

I bought the cheapest Windristrictor I could get a couple years ago. It's good if you're going to drive around in the cold, or have long hair that whips around from behind, otherwise MHO, they are uneeded in the XLR. I too found the reflections very very distracting, especially when you see...

Help! Drain on trunk mounted electronic components

What automatic car wash can you take a car this low in to? I've never seen one (wouldn't use it anyway).

    Help! Help! no communication

2 methods listed, one with and one without. The 30 minute method doesn't require techline. I can't verify the 30 minute version works, but it is a GM procedure.

    Roof wont work

Read the owners manual and try a window re-index. The top won't go down if the computer doesn't know where the windows are (up or down). A good indication it's that is your window(s) don't go down a little when you open the door.

    Help! Help! no communication

Usually it's the RCDLR if it works in the glovebox slot. A new RCDLR installed in a vehicle will require having the ECM (if equipped) learn the new RCDLR's password. Perform either the 10-minute relearn procedure or the 30-minute relearn procedure to learn the password of the new RCDLR...

    Trunk Release Problems after Washing

These all sound like helper strut problems. See if they are leaking. Or remove them and see if they have any open energy left.

    Caddy mid engine?

Wait for a totaled C8 with a blackwing engine, then put it in your XLR. LOL

    06 XLR - Did I make a mistake???

Should have taken the headlights and tail lights off an XLR in Cali and shown up at the corvette release and tried to embarras GM... "I bought a $100,000 GM halo car 10 years ago and can't get it fixed" on the side.

    Swapping Headers Without Dropping Engine

That's what I did. Remove the heat shield bolts, move the heat shield around to get to all the header bolts, once the manifold was loose wiggle the heat shield out. You have to take out the dipstick, be sure you put it and the heatshield back in loose before putting the bolts in the manifold, I...

New Blurtooth & 3.5mm Input Jack Interface for the XLR's

There's a thread on installing a Sir GM1 radio in XLRs around here somewhere. They are usually about $30. You can use it to "activate" your XM button, I don't think you even have to activate the radio. Update. After putting one of these BT45-VETTE's I remember I had to use the Sir GM1 wire...

    2007 XLR-V FOR SALE 14,000 MILES

Might be a good idea for everyone to put on a second top, would keep the first one from de-laminating and flying off? :D
