Help! 04 XLR headlight driver's side needed, full assembly.

You can get bulbs, but it could be the balast too. If you wear clean cotten gloves you could try swapping the bulbs left to right first and see if it's the bulb or the balast. Both are available on Ebay and other places.

Help! Need to manually open top.

You did turn the valve at the pump? I never didn't do that, but maybe if you don't the top can't retract all the way.

Help! Starting problem with 2005 base XLR

Is your DIC showing "no fob found" when you hear this clicking? Because this sounds like a no fob found problem, that can be the rcdlr module, not the starter.

New Member 2006 XLR-V LSA Swap

Did they paint over the side turn signals of the headlights on the sides? Hopefully it's just tinted.. or stickers.

    Wind Deflector

Hopefully since you are getting a custom one they won't give you ancient glued parts like I got with the basic one.

    2008 XLR-V Manifold replacement

If it's a V it has the newer manifold. I'm pretty sure the fact they list the old one as 2006 also is for the non-Vs. CAI Cold Air Induction.

    Help! XM radio disappeared?

I put an aftermarket antenna that's about 3 inches round on the dash in the center by the windshield. I don't even notice it. The Grill there is metal and the magnet in the antenna holds it tight. Depending on the time of the day or where you are, sometimes I pull it a little forward further...

    New mid-engine XLR???

If new rumors are to be believed it seems we might see the de-coupling of Bowling Green output from Chevy exclusivity. What guesses can we make now? We are pretty sure a version of the Blackwing engine is going in to the C8. GM didn't spend money to make a Cadillac key-fob for the C8 without...

    New mid-engine XLR???

The "up market" car will be the Cadillac version of the C8. It will be 20k to 40k more than the most expensive version of the C8 corvette. GM can't sell Camaro's, they aren't coming out with a "cheaper" corvette, they will keep the C8 within $10k of the current C7 it will replace. GM isn't...

Help! 2006 XLR Hardtop going up and down very slowly

There are 2 helper struts on the lowest mechanism you might want to see if they are leaking. Maybe one's gone bad. My guess is that wouldn't slow down the stow though, just the going up.

    Headers for the 4.6 N*

There are none made right now. One of the problems is the Northstar was designed to have the Cats very close to the exhaust ports, and to make headers you have to move the CAT way to the end. I'm not sure how well that would work in the long term. Magnaflow makes replacement exhaust...

    New mid-engine XLR???

Then 9 years later you won't be able to get headlights for your $170,000 cadillac. Wonder how many people would actually drive them anyway?

    Hello from the D

Check for water in the electronics/hydraulics well in the trunk on the drivers side. Very expensive to fix. If it shows a water line above the electronics, look elsewhere. Check for water in the tail/headlights (almost impossible to find replacements). Look for light oil on the upper part of...
