I think I know the answer to this, but....
My fuel gauge has been stuck at 2/3 full for the last 400 miles. Oddly, there is no DTC currently set.
I plan on looking at the fuel sending unit readouts closely to figure out if (or which) tank has a faulty unit (if that is indeed the problem)...
There are a lot of new folks on here, and the weather is getting nicer.
I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, and it really doesn't seem to happen frequently at all, but please be sure you know how to manually raise your convertible top if you're out and it gets stuck.
There are...
Okay folks, time to think about a fall drive! We can always do Madison (Indiana) again - its a great town with great drives (and I don't need to say how great the Key West Shrimp House is or the Osgood Grub Company!!!). I was also thinking of Asheville - we all know its a beautiful area, and I...
Drivers throughout Ohio will see more troopers as the State Highway Patrol sends all of its officers out on the roadways for a day.
The patrol says the so-called "All Out Day" on Friday is a high-visibility enforcement effort by the more than 1,400 troopers throughout the state.
The troopers'...

DETROIT — Corvette owners could soon be...
I'm heading to my friends familys house last night, so I go and pick up some ice cream for dessert. (I have this long introduction so you know I wasn't driving like a "Club" member) Upon leaving the grocery store, I hear a "THUNK" and suddenly the car isn't tracking very well. I pull in to the...
I am not affiliated with either company, but I might attend on Sunday. Anyone else interested? Copied details below:
Griot's Garage is coming to Best of Show Automotive in Mentor, Ohio and you're invited! Enjoy free admission to Mentor Museum of Speed, and join our Car Care Specialists for...
Here are a few pics from the top of Pikes Peak:
The cog train, tracks, and a view:
14,110 feet up. Many of us were effected with the thin air (headaches for me, dizzyness for others). It was a great view and a great ride.
I thought this might deserve its own thread.
At Royal Gorge in Colorado, our own Cubby and Photo Girl decided to go on a little adventure and try the Sky Coaster. The video says it all:

I thought I'd post this in case anyone else was thinking about doing this...
I've been wanting to do something with the exhaust in my base XLR. Corsa exhausts are pricey (I tried to get a "Group Buy" going, but no retailer wanted to or was able to reduce the price).
So, after lurking on...
Everyone send their good wishes to George (Indy XLR-V Guy). It's national Corn Dog Day!!!!!!:laugh::laugh:
(Corn Dog is George's unofficial nickname)
I think it's supposed to be relatively nice outside today - maybe it's time to blow the cobwebs out of the XLR!
Some members have had some issues with their cars that, had they had advance notice of the issue, could have been averted. A good "Spring Cleaning" of your car could help. here's...
(No, this isn't about unintended acceleration in the XLR (nor a debate about it and its causes), but I found this interesting tidbit from an online Car & Driver article. I haven't personally tried it; your mileage may vary.
Besides the obvious things to do with a car you can't stop (put it in...
I was talking to Cadillac Tech the other day about Corsa exhausts. He mentioned other members were interested as well, and suggested that we do what the Corvette forum folks do, which is to get everyone together and make a "group buy" of an item. We all should get a much better deal than...
Retro is all the rage these days!
Here's pic of my first car - a 1971 Pontiac Catalina.
I think I have more pictures of cars I've owned than me!
Anyone else care to share?
ROB: I'm finally getting rid of my POS phone and getting into the new century with an iPhone. Do you have an app so those of us with smart phones can keep up with posting and new posts, or should we just go online with the phone and deal with it? Thanks in advance! :worship:
So, my tiny little brain is whirring around in circles as usual, trying to find optional (read: CHEAP) ways of accomplishing things. One of the "things" involves the exhaust on my (base) XLR.
NOT an option: Buy a Corsa exhaust, which equals big $$$$ (for me, anyway, with this crappy...
Any way you slice it (pun intended), this is a fun story!
