There's an interesting 2009 Cadillac XLR-V that popped up for sale on EBAY yesterday - Gray Flannel over Cashmere.

The listing mentions:

The Only Example Finished in Cyber Gray Over Cashmere with Special Ordered Interior without Alcantara

I wasn't aware of an alcantara delete option on the 2009 XLR-V??

so its a V without V interior. seems that would reduce the value? wonder if they put the base head linear in also
I don't know. They word it in such a way that there was an alcantara delete option that I'm not aware of

nothing shows up on the registry listing you have with the option listings. I dont really think even if it was an option it makes any difference in the value of the car.

Hey

There is a saying.................... "If it does not make sense, then it is not true."

I'd leave it at that.

What would be the rationale for Alcantara delete? I think that a WAY more plausible explanation would be the original V seat or seats were destroyed or damaged by some issue in the car's history and the only replacement seats available were base XLR seats?

Yeah, I saw that one...weird option!, I sold my 2009 V a few months ago on BaT and just bought a 2006 V today with only 6500 miles, I'm excited to get it!
