American trucks still #1

Ford builds a great truck; both gas and diesel.

I've owned several over the years, liked them all - especially the 1999 and 2002 Ford Lightnings.

Their new 6.7 turbo diesel is a real star performer.

In my opinion, any jackass that runs out and buys a japanese built truck deserves what he gets - second class power and second class performance. And just maybe a sticky gas pedal ! ha

Sticky pedal my @ss. It's the drive by wire. Cruise at 85 on a rainy day, slight press on the gas to pass, disengage cruise with the cancel swtch, slight pressure on brake pedal and away you go. Repeatable. Took them over 6 weeks after they announced the "sticky gas pedal" to even send the recall notice. By then I had traded for an STS. When they finally have to admit to the electronics the lawyers are going to have a field day. :pat:
