Challenging? More like Death Defying!

The "Tail of the Dragon" is "challenging".

I've always known I was a thrill junky, but this just plain scares me now. At one time or another, I have traversed #1-9, and 12.

WHAT WAS I THINKING! :pat:

I have driven everyone of them and still alive to tell about it.

I have only had the pleasure of driving #9 and that was with my eyes closed and praying the entire time. Just kidding. You ask me driving any where near Chicago is an adventure. They speed limits posted and I often wonder why no one pays any attention to the number. If your driving 70 they will run you over. :chuckle

Rogene & I drove on the #1, the 550, Silverton CO. It was when we stayed a few extra days after our CO meeting with all you guys. It's one awesome drive (and scary!).

Haven't done quite as many. We do #1 every May to attend a hot balloon rally and car show in Ridgeway. We have posted photos of the XLR's on that road. I have also done 2, 3, 4, 7, 9 & 10. Maybe someday will get them all done.

We should add a #14! Anybody remember Skyline Drive in CO this Summer? That was neat!
