The Corvette Action Center takes an in-depth look at gasoline, fuel stabilizers, octane boosters and their effects on your XLR.

The article was just released yesterday and was written with Corvettes in mind for the CAC, but the principles and knowledge really applies to any automobile.

What I found interesting was the statement that fuel stabilizers aren't necessary unless the car is going to be stored longer than 1-year!

I think we covered this pretty thouroughly once before, if I remember right, everyone had their own opinion on why they chose what they did - I thought that was really interesting, going to show once again how we justify our choices/spending etc. None of the articles that I have ever read has actually specified one particular oil companies fuel as being "the one and only, end-all-be-all."
Thoughts?
