Emblem Dimensions Needed

Can someone do me a favor and verify the dimensions of the front, rear, and steering wheel emblems on the base model XLR. I've been working with a graphics artist on decals for FireFox and he wants to make them available to all Cadillac owners. I'm not doing this to make money, but he seems to think there's a market for it. Here's Mine:

Would someone be willing to measure the crest emblems on their vehicle for us?
We are looking at producing vinyl emblem overlays for the whole fleet of Cadillac models and need the widest dimension to scale our cut file to.

We need a measurement for the front, back and steering wheel emblems.

The measurement we need is the one labeled 3.20 in the diagram below (those are the dims for the crest on the CTS-V):

Sounds good to me - Sorry I did nto get to this yesterday - the wife was out with the kids and took the digital camera with her.

Geez, Giz .... I thought you wanted all of those angle/degree measurments ... but you just want the width at the widest point in inches??? Unless someone gets up earlier than me I'll get that for you tomorrow.

I don't have a micrometer, and was forced to use a tape measure. The steering wheel was 1.25 inches from point to point. The front is 2.75 inches, and the rear is 1.50 inches. I hope that helps.

Interesting .... now I have to go measure again ... I wrote down 3.25 for our front emblem .... 2004 ....

Went out and re-measured .. point to point, 3.25 ... again, we have a 2004 basic model.... and the others remain as I PM'd you .... as above.

Hmmn, Mine is 2.75 point to point on a 2005.

Ok, maybe there is some difference amongst the front emblems. Here is a photo of my front emblem with tape measure (2005 XLR).

Maybe Cadillac Tech can chime in with some history on why it was changed in 05 and then changed back in 06.
