Hello, i live in Belgium - near Spa-Francorchamps. I've 48 yeras old ans I like sportscars.
So, I'll read some topics to find a lot of détails about XLR.
Here, thre'rnt a lot of XLR on the roads because the taxes are high for this kind of car (power).
Sorry, my English is not perfect...

This is my little history about spotscars ;

- Talbot Mata Murena
- Nissan 300 ZX TT
- Opel Speedster Turbo
- Chrysler Crossfire Roadster (N/A)
- Lotus Exige "S"
- Corvette C6 (Z51)
- Alpine A610 Turbo
- Opel GT Turbo Roadster

The 2 latests cars are still in my garage with a Jeep Liberty (KJ) too.

Looking forward to reading you.

Jean-Luc.

Welcome!

I'm sure your English is better than our French, Dutch or German, whichever you speak.

Post some pictures of your rides, including your XLR with some beautiful Belgium scenery!

I love those Alpine A610's! They look like super fun GT cars! Would definitely like to own one some day.

...don't wait for.... 818 exemplars !

Welcome to our European Cousin(s) : )

Guten Tak  Nice cars all. Welcome to The XLR Site. The XLR's are unusual enough here to draw lots of curiosity, I can only imagine the interest they would drawn in Belgium or Germany.

I ask a basic question ; the XLR has a belt or chain of distribution ?...
(sorry, I can't found this on the net :banghead: ).

Thanks a lot ! :)

I'm happy, I'll try an 2004 XLR (N/A) next Saturday and just 45000 KM ( +-30 000Miles).

Do you have any advices to give me ?

XLR in Belgium

To : JL-Z
Over the years, only 9 XLR's have been sold in Belgium. For as much as I know, not one XLR-V has made it over here.

I have a XLR MY2005, next to my C7-R.edition.

The 4.6 Northstar V8 engine, as used in the XLR, has a distribution chain.

Best regards.

Thanks a lot for these informations !

Welcome to the forum. Don't worry about your English, we will likely have a good idea of what you need to know and if we don't understand your the words you use, we will sort it out. We may have many languages here but we all speak 'XLR' and we are happy to help another XLR enthusiast. Owning a vehicle from a different country makes it difficult to get 'local' help - but we have the internet to help.

If you have not yet got an XLR we hope you do someday. :burnout:
