Shunpiking - Done Any Lately?


shunpiking - noun \ˈshən-ˌpī-kiŋ\

The practice of avoiding superhighways especially for the pleasure of driving on back roads.

Example: I thought the fun of Fall drive was going to be watching the pedestrians as we caravaned to and from Madison until we went for the shunpiking along SR250 - that made it exciting.
