Keys problem

I just bought an '05 XLR ands love it. The last owner only had 1 key fob so I bought a new one. I took the car to a locksmith to have a key made so I program the new Fob. We discovered that the is no mechanism inside the bumper. OUCH! How hard is it to get access from below to see if the mechanism is there or someone removed it. This car is fighting me all the time. Now I have an engine code for the MAF sensor. Key first then sensor. Are these key mechanisms available? I am not sure what to call it. THX

Check the manual if there is something written over there and if you not find anything there then contact a locksmith to help you knowing the key mechanism.
