When I bought my 05 XLR, it was missing most of the left and right outer valance / air damn end pieces (part numbers 10351603 & 10351604). I recently decided to see if I could make them myself, and had some 1/8 inch ABS plastic from another project, so I decided to give that a try.
Not sure how well the stiff ABS will hold up... might even be ripped off after one speed bump, so I'll let you know how it goes over the next couple of months.
Regardless, I mostly enjoyed making them, and I learned more about plastic forming for my next project.
Why am I posting in the wanted section... probably because when these fail, I'll be wanting OEM pieces
