Loring Timing Association 2014 Race dates

For our East coast friends Loring Timing Association (LTA) host Standing Mile and Mile and 1/2 racing at Loring AFB, Maine. LTA is a sanctioned LSR organization and shares the same rules as SCTA and ECTA. The entry fees are low, but the safety requirement limit street cars to 135MPH. I have convinced ECTA to drop the convertible ante and am in negotiations to tech our cars equivalent to the Corvette C6 which has an exception for up to 150MPH with only a race seat and 5-point seat belts. Above that the first restriction which eliminates us in a hurry is a 4 point roll cage. Here is a quick summation of the major safety requirements before exceptions:

The Maine Event will be Juy 18th - 20th

Harvest Event will be August 30th - 31st
