Mojave Mile #7, April 12-13, 2014 at Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, CA. for our West Coast friends.

The Mojave Mile
Standing Mile racing is now the hottest form of racing on the West coast!

That’s right – standing-start, flat out speed, as fast as you can go in ONE MILE!
(or maybe even a mile-and-a-half)

Held in conjunction with the Mojave Air and Space Port in Mojave, CA, the Mojave Mile is the latest, fastest, and best venue for Standing Mile type racing. Mojave features a smooth, 12,000’ runway, with up to a mile of shutdown distance, the latest in accurate electronic timing equipment, a top-notch staff of experienced professionals and safety response teams, and a huge overnight-secured Paddock area with P.A. system and food. Our Mojave Magnum variant even allows you to go for a full 1.5 miles!

The Mojave Mile and Magnum are open to both cars and motorcycles. Mark your calendar to attend one of the most exciting racing venues in the country!

2014 Event Dates announced

Our next event will be held on April 12th and 13th, 2014. This will be a Mojave Mile; there will be no 1.5 mile runs. Registration will open at 12:01 AM PST January 12th, 2014. Rule changes and updated documents will be available in late January. The changes will be minimal.

It is highly likely that this will be our ONLY event in 2014. Hope to see you all there!

October Magnum event a huge success! New Record set!

We had great weather and a great turnout for the Mojave Magnum on October 12th and 13th, 2013. Mike Garcia set a new Magnum motorcycle record at 247.3 MPH. Many racers earned new 200MPH and 225MPH club shirts.

The results are posted on our results page. The list of speed club members has also been updated.

Entered an event but haven't paid yet? Your spot is not guaranteed! Read This!

Here's an important point that all entrants need to be aware of. If you put in your online entry to one of our events, but you decide not to pay at that time, that's fine; however, until your entry fees are paid in full, your entry is on HOLD, and your spot is NOT guaranteed. This means that if we get near our entry limit and other, paying entrants want to sign up, you could be bumped out of the event. To avoid this situation, pay your fees as soon as possible!

Speed Limits Raised!

Good news! Effective immediately, we have raised the Auto 1 class maximum speed limit (vehicle tech speed) to 175 MPH (from 170). And, to keep the limits aligned, we also raised the speed limit (driver tech speed) for Class C drivers (and riders) from 170 to 175 MPH.

One other rule change was enacted along with the higher limits. It now takes a 160 MPH run to graduate from a Basic license to a Sportsman license. (This was formerly 153 MPH.) Existing Sportsman license holders who have not yet gone 160 will still get to keep their licenses. (This rule change means that it is no longer possible for no-experience rookies to jump directly to a Sportsman license level using their initial required Rookie run. It will now take at least two runs for them to get that 200mph license.)
