I noticed that for the last year or so, when I start the car cold (ambient 75 deg), it starts immediately, revs up to 1800 or so and proceeds to miss and stumble and almost stall for about 30 seconds and then quiets right down to a nice smooth low idle.
This only happens after being shut down for 2 days or more. No missing or stumble after warmed up.

A friend suggested getting a throttle body cleaning but on the V it's not that easy to get at.

Any thoughts from the collective?

cleaning the throttle body may require someone with a tech 2 or higher to be able to rest the computer. I see a lot of towed GM cars that owners cleaned the throttle body and it set a hard code in the computer. check your fuel pressure. sounds like a fuel problem either cold start valve bad or may be low fuel pressure. Both could be a problem with temp change
