software update question

I had the x in the shop around christmas for top problems and I know they did the software update for it then. My question is does that cover all software updates or just the one for the top?

Speaking up upgrades, I have been playing phone tag with GM and they have been playing phone tag with the third party Nav disc maker. Gm has gotten very involved with the problem of them not wanting to honor those discs that we where entiltled to and GM believes we have every right to them, so they are putting pressure on the third party. I was told I would get another phone call next week, so stay tuned, it's not over until it's over.
