Top Temp too high message. Top won't go down

So, my top pump got flooded but I'm sure that it works. The trunk opens. So I believe that it's the thermistor. It measure 86.5k resistance all the time witch is equal to about 120 degrees f. The car has 34k miles on it. The pump does not get hot.
So I was wondering if using a Tech 2 analyzer I would be able to cancel the Top Hot error. I don't have one, but I could find one.
Has anyone ever tried that? Did it work?
Thanks

sadly if it got flooded it most likely has damage. Don't know of many that have been able to solve wet pump problems. If the pump got wet did the top module also get wet?
