My 2005 xlr wipers came on and would not shut off till I pulled the fuse,its in shop for a fix!!! why?

This is a tough one. No one has ever had this happen since 2004, so you did the best thing by taking it to the dealer. Living in SO Cal, I never use my wipers and keep the automatics off in case I go in the hand car wash.
