Short answer, Yes.

Long answer, yes but you will also need the wiring harness adapter for the '06 and up headlamps to work in an '04 or '05 XLR.

I have a 2004 XLR. I got hit at work and my headlight was damaged. I am having trouble locating a new factory one. Anyone on her have any ideas?

No longer available through GM parts sources. You will have to search eBay, salvage yards etc. to try and find one. Be prepared to pay big $$$$ for a working one and not necessarily in pristine condition either!!
