Hi everyone.
So, over the past 6 weeks, I spent a lot of time trying various LED replacement bulbs for the DRL's/Turn Signals. (Mind you, that my car is a 2006, and the headlamps are in near new condition, no burnt lenses). I did this, to be proactive to prevent any future damage. To my...
Hi. I think the part you're looking for for the "switch bezel" is GM Part No. 88991572 (called "Outer cover")

Thanks James! All fluids changed (Brake, coolant, transmission, power steering, oil), except differential and top hydraulic fluid. Hopefully that's all of it. Differential will happen at next visit (I simply forgot...). The top, it was recommended that I take a turkey baster and do it...
My opinion: Keep it if you can, and enjoy it like your dad did (every once in a while drive...), for as long as you can...
Someone else responded about the top, but to expand on that, there's a cargo divider in the trunk that has to be in place in order for the top to function. See attached...

Thanks! I'll do some research. All fluids changed, except the differential, and the hydraulic fluid for the top. I probably should do that too? (Probably not they hydraulic fluid). Agree on the 93 octane/additive. Battery is new.
Hi! So bear with me here... I'm a new XLR owner. The car is a 2006 XLR, with 19K miles on it. Smells and looks new. Since I've never driven an XLR before, how would I know if the shocks are good or bad? I've driven plenty of sports cars. This car, seems to be a mushier Corvette for sure...
Thanks for the tips. This foam is very brittle, and pretty much disintegrates to the touch. I simply am able to suck it out with a vacuum, was just wondering if I have anything to worry about, seems as if no, but to just keep sucking... (lol). ;-)
So, good news. Today I pulled out the headlamp to see what was going on, AND to replace the marker and DRL/Turn signal with LED's. The reason for the adaptive headlamp message - a severed wire (drivers side, grey). EASY fix. All is working well. A bit dissapointing that the dealership...
