Starting at page 2-54 in the owner's manual lays out the procedures for Vehicle Personalization, seat/mirrors and steering wheel. It will direct you to page 3-73 where the auto recall, auto exit (really like this one) ... (several other items) and passive locking are explained.
I had bought a #2 fob with great expectations. For the life of me, it will not pair to my car. Even tried w/Tech II. I did learn my fob is #3 paired to my car. The GM/S (top) number is different from my working fob. If these numbers are a match for you, you're in need of a second or third...
What you say is correct mickeytee, the filament is ABS and the process you've said is called tempering. PETG is not suitable for this application. To print in ABS my setup will require some minor upgrades of which I'm in the process of doing. The attached photo is our prototype in ABS.
Update Feb. 29th, 2024, Seat Speaker Retaining Ring.
Received some drawings for the part and attempted to do a drawing myself. Sent my drawing to the CAD guy and as he tried to model it, it wasn't working. The op, "TheOldMan" has sent his ring straight to my CAD guy for clarification. I...
Reviving this thread. I need both for driver's seat. I have a friend that can write the gcode for 3D printing, and I have a printer. Working with the op and will post up our progress. Show of hands, anybody else in need?

I really like what you've done with the grille. Those '09 rims look right at home. We're in CA. As you can see my car never had the front plate mount/bracket...so I never put one on it.
Back on the topic of radios...Unless we get a week or so of nice warm weather, my install is...

Glad the video helps.
A hair dryer may be the better choice if any heat is needed, at least my heat gun gets way too hot for any interior work.
Good to know for the bumpers!
Plan A for the b/u cam wiring is to follow the 3rd brake light wiring harness then going low into the passenger compartment, tucking the wiring under the plastic trim along the bottom of the door well. From there behind the dash into the center console bay. I'm concerned about breakage as...
I bought my set of pry bars from Harbor Freight years ago; they still carry them. When I ordered the kit from Crutchfield's, I had them do the splicing, an extra 25-dollar charge. The adapter harness is plug and play from my previous experience with a '93 Sevelle STS.
These are my tools, highly recommend for this project. Also, the tools I used for the vinyl wrapping process. The squeegee has a felt edge to prevent scratches and use a fresh blade in the Exacto, or knife of choice. I also found the low setting on the heat gun more than adequate.
Thanks! I'm installing the AVIC-W8600NEX and ND-BC8 (backup cam). This is the latest version of the same unit I did in my wife's '93 Sevelle STS. I'll post up as the work progresses, waiting for a stretch of a few days of nice weather.
