I installed ceramic pads (Redstuff 3000 series) about 2k miles ago and they work great with the drilled and slotted rotor. Very little or no dust.:)

Are you getting a message "no key fob detected"? If so, try reprogramming. If no message at all then you may have a dead battery.

Just had my dealer install the 3rd replacement battery in my 06 XLR. The previous one lasted 28 months (a record). I have been using a c-tek battery manager when ever the car is not in normal use. Can anyone recommend a battery that will last? The Cadillac dealer keeps installing ACDelco .

I bought my 06 in August of 09, with 5 months left on the original factory warrantee. The dealer gave me a print out of the entire history of the cars service record. I agree, you should call a Cadillac rep.

I've leased an 05 SRX, an 08 CTS4 and now I own a 2010 CTS4 wagon. They were great cars and never a problem. The 2010 wagon is the best one yet. :patriot:
