    Cruise control

    Is it possible to disengage ACC and run as regular cruise control on my '04 XLR? I believe it is possible on the new Caddys.

    In the registry it shows the highest serial number for '04 was 4352.

    For me it was the correct number as everything matched in the XLR Registry.

    Yes, mine will not engage if the light in the dash shows there is a problem with traction control. But the issue is with the CC just out of the blue shuts off while running down the interstate. Mine also works with the traction button staying on, I never turn it off either.

    I am having a small issue with my cruise control. From time to time when crushing down the interstate my cruise will just disengage for no reason. I have come to learn that cruise will not engage if the traction control light is on, but t but this will be working g fine and then 20 to 25 miles...

    WHERE TO FIND???

    Where on my XLR would I find the number of my car in the line manufactured that year? It is not on the seal plate in the door. It is an '04. Just bought it a month ago and it only had 52,000 miles on it, a GM executive had it all these years.
