Used to tie in from the old harness to the new one that the new headlight comes with. I replaced my melted headlight with a newer headlight, just need the right wire harness to connect it.
I'm looking for the headlight jumper for the newer style headlight. I remember seeing the part number somewhere but cant find it, but I don't remember there being a picture of the jumper on the listing. If someone could verify this for me so I can order it I would appreciate it. Thank you
Haven't been on here since deployment started 9 months ago, We got delayed to help out in the Philippines with the relief. Hope all is well with everyone.
Just wondering if anyone from here lives in Texas. Wondering what the car scene is like out there. The reason I ask, is for future...
I remember talking to this guy a few years back. If I remember right it's a 2005, but that is an updated front end of course. He helped me with part numbers and questions I had when I did my conversion. Love the look!
Thank you very much for the responses. I'll give them a call to see if I get get it replaced for no charge. But if I have to pay, I wont worry until I come back in February. Too much other stuff going on instead of dealing with the harness. Love driving my XLR again, and people can't stop...
I know it's probably been talked about, and if anyone has any information on it I would appreciate it. I bought a new headlight for mine to replace the melted one. But the headlight needs the different wiring harness to go from the 8prong to the 4prong. I have it on one side that I already...
Haven't been on the forums in a bit, currently halfway through my deployment.
Just flew off the carrier today, to help with an inspection on one of our aircraft back in Japan. Working 12 hours/ 7 days a week takes a toll on you! But I'm 10 days away from taking leave and being able to come back...
Definitely a good thread to start and learn from as many people as possible.
I have to agree comparing just the size of the sway bars seem irrelevant when you can adjust them appropriately. I also have the Hotchkis F&R w/ all new hardware and bushings. Set up on the middle of the three holes...
Didn't know that you could change it on a v-series to a performance mode. Thanks for the info.
Like I said, definitely going with the coilovers on my base XLR, but the addition of the hotchkis sway bars made a huge difference in the suspension (which is obvious it would seeing as though the...
You may be right, I found this out when I went to Car Craft in '11. Everyone that came up assumed it was my dad's Cadi, only to look surprised when I said it was mine. But I don't care what people think, and I'll add, the parents of any woman I take out fall in love with me right away when they...
I'm not trying to act like I know everything about the suspension, but I'm learning. I would think throwing coilovers on it would be a benefit of more my style of roadcoursing the XLR. I'll definitely be going with the PFADT coilovers, but D3 also sells a kit KW3 Variant Coilovers.
Just throwing...
Dont think I could constitute spending that kind of money for oem shocks. If I had the problem you had, I would step it up to either of these. Me personally, am going with the coilovers when I get back stateside.

Wait what...? You shouldnt be able to reach through the original grille like that because its solid. Your release is on top of the grill and under the hood... And it doesnt change with the new mesh grille.
