    I have seen other posts where after removal of these bolts, the tray would not budge. A little hesitant to force it I guess. I have not tried it yet. Thanks

    Battery tray

    Has anyone replaced a battery tray in the XLR? Is this a difficult job to perform? My tray is missing the bottom nut to receive the hold down clamp bolt and the battery is only held in place by the cables.

    Is it possible to drive the car when the 7 hydraulic cylinders and pump module have been removed and sent out for repairs/rebuild?

    cant see the fluid level due to transperency issue with the resevoir. dark on the inside of the resevoir

    2008 XLR has sat for a while. Took it out for a day trip. Retracted the top, no issues. After returning, went to put the top to the closed position. At step 7 of the close sequence, the top would not raise up from the storage area. I could hear the pump motor running, top would not come up...

    Help! Fuel tank smell.

    I had the same problem with my 2008. Bought it used. After filling the tanks and parked overnight in the garage, strong odor of gas. Took it to a Cadillac dealer. Bad gasket on the top of one tank where the fuel pump enters. Had to replace the pump. Not cheap. Have to drop the rear differential...
