My driver's side exterior mirror folds down without any problem but to return it to its position (i.e. towards the outside) it goes slowly with a clack-clac-clac noise; My mechanic (not Cadillac dealer) tells me that I need to change the mirror motor; Is this correct (or do I have to change the entire mirror because I have no access to this engine?). My XLR is an 2005. While reading you. JLC.
