Welcome, Hal-in-Prescitt
What is your car Color?
I have seen other XLRs around and wonder which is yours.

Patrick, my XLR just arrived Wednesday night and has been out limited amounts yesterday only. It's the 2009 XLR Platinum edition, Crystal Red Tintcoat with Cashmere Interior. Chrome wheels. Now sports a temporary license plate number XLR4HAL.
I live in the Prescott Lakes area. Where are you? Hal

Great choice in cars
Mine is also a 2009 Crystal Red Metallic with the Cashmere interior. It is my daily driver and I have just over 70,000 miles on it. I am in Yavapai Hills.

The Service Manager at Lamb Chevrolet said there were a few XLRs around Prescott that they service. That made me feel better to know the local dealer has some familiarity with these cars.

I do not care for the ride of run flats so, I'm running;
4 Good Year Eagle Sport A/S 235/50R18 97W Tires

Was this the xlr from Duluth Mn?
I did get it from Duluth. They had 3 at the same dealer. They stated there is someone in that area that collected these but had just got into a C8 Corvette. I bought the 2009 with 20k miles.

Welcome!!!!

Good Luck with the 2009 XLR Hal ! Color is nice and Platinum wheels are cool, I would like to find some of them for my 2005! Looks like you also have a C5 Vette as well? We have a 2002 C5 Convertible, like that too.

Thanks. My XLR is so nice I just had the plastic shield/invisible bra put on the whole front end. Worthwhile investment as I plan to keep her for a while.
The C5 you saw in one of my pictures is the 2003 50th Anniversary convertible. That's actually a car I gave my daughter about 10 years ago when I moved to CO. It was in my garage for a week or so while I fixed her window regulator and updated her radio. It's back with her now. What I do have is a 2016 Z51 Corvette convertible. Similar color to my XLR (Long Beach Red.) Like the XLR, she only had 20k miles on her. I just finished cleaning up the Corvette. Pictures attached.
Love both these cars!

Nice 2016 C7 ! Love the pic on Route 66, maybe someday I can get there!
We looked at a 2015 C7 Convertible, yellow (wife's favorite color), but dealer that had it wanted to give is crap for trade-in on our C5, AND wanted more $$ for cash payment!
So we forgo'd the C7, kept our C5, and I looked for an XLR then.
Attached are pics of our C5, and my other two cars. The '57 I have had since I am 15 yrs old, my first car, Nova took me 10 years to build, finishing it in 2010. Out of garage room now and need to save $$ for retirement LOL !
Hoping to hear how other are doing with their XLR's and getting feedback.
Thanks,
