Help! XLR V Top Not Secure

2006 XLR V now located in Punta Gorda Fl from Knoxville. Need help with “top not secure” message and top stuck in open position. Push the button for up and trunk opens , tonneau lifts and then some whining and top not secure. Mickey T been big help in past as we were nearby I think but looking for some help on self troubleshooting on West coast of FL. Thanks everyone

Search some past posts on the power top, there is some good information that may help. The obvious is to check the fluid level because it sounds like the pump is starving.
