If u want them open all the time, pull the Rubber hoses that connect to the Baffles. In the rear.

I did mine.. Held the trunk up with a 2x4. Put a crowbar between the hinge and had my friend press down on the crowbar, just enough so i could slip the the top strut in. Was not easy, but worked..

As for the trunk, you are going to have to change the two struts, in the trunk.

Yes, I have played with it. I called the guy who had it, of course, he told me it worked with him, but of course he was a salesman.

Took a look at the box, all the cables are in tact. Can move the little satellite button with my fingers around to different places on the screen, when i start the car, it returns. weird..
