Rob, I just tried the search function regular and advanced. Is there a problem?
It did not work for me. Is there a new way to search after moving to a new ??????

Yes, I know. The website was migrated to a new server over the weekend, and we're trying to iron out some issues. The Tech Support team at the hosting company is looking into the search functionality issue.
Thanks for the notes you entered on the start button replacement in 2015. It is 2023 and I will be going thru the same process and will use your notes as well as the other gentlemen's who was so thorough in his instructions. My local Cadillac dealer didn't want to work on it. I have the 7mm and tape ready. Wish me luck.

You're referring. to C.C. Clarke, a veritable library of all things XLR. He was here when I joined.
Just added the 2005 XLR to the stable. 1992 and 1993 Allante’s plus 1975 and 1979 Hurst Olds
Hey MTrocket,

I just purchased a Cadillac XLR and looking to replace the Fender insulator (The piece that sits behind the Fender) I noticed it's glued on and was wondering if anyone knew what kind of glue is used and the process to keep it in place to be glued?
Rob, I see you administer the Corvette Action Center as well. Are you the "Rob" that administered the CAC 10 plus years ago, when Ken Stapel was active with the site? Just curious. I was a close friend of Ken's. Hal Vatcher

Nice! I still miss Ken. I don't know if his brother still has Ken's car. I know he was going to try and "de-tune" it so it was more "drive-able." Perhaps I should reach out.

Yeah, Ken was a great guy. I'm not sure whatever happened to his car

Been well taken care of by a local Certified Corvette mechanic as far as fluids etc. He sent me to the Cadillac Dealership get the rotors turned while on the car, replaced front pads and adjusted rear brakes at the beginning of Covid. Have not driven it 500 miles since then.

hello forums
Howdy. I've been prompted to ask YOU my questions on suspension modules, specifically the one in my 2004 XLR that does not work. Will it not swap out with a 2004 Corvette C5 suspension module, the schematics are basically identical but I'm not familiar with the programming within the modules. My other suggestion was to do a bypass and change the shocks.

Help spread the good word to all the other owners of the 2004 and 2005 XLR.
Have a fantastic day.

Do you know if the ABS control module is the same between the 2004 XLR and the 2006 Corvette?

I'm not sure about that but maybe you could try to look up the part numbers and see if they match. I would think you could find the corvette number easy enough by just finding it on Rock auto, they usually show the part numbers there. The XLR might be a little harder to find unless it's on the part, or maybe it's somewhere on the forum.
XLR Tech?
Who is the XLR Tech here in Arizona? I have a low mileage 06 that's had very little issues but its not a bad idea to know a good reputable tech for repairs. I live in Wickenburg and there is one shop that the owner works on Corvettes but know very little about XLR's. Would you please let me know who this tech is.

Thank You
