Battery Ground Reason for asking I had a corvette with same problem, ground cable did not have good connection so I installed a new one in a different location which solve the problem. I just could not see where it was connected from looking down beside battery. Thanks for the response. David J

dead battery Ben, I think everyone that owns a XLR has battery problems if they let them set. I was told by my mechanic at the Chevy dealer that specializes in Vets that because these vehicles are all electric there is a constant pull on the battery to keep memory in the computer which causes...

North Star badging I agree with eliminating the North Star badging. Of all the great engines GM produced they had to put it in the XLR. Well guess they had deplete the inventory.

Does the XLRV have the North Star engine or another GM engine? :wave:

Transmission shift shaft Could someone tell me which side the shift linkage is on the transmission before I crawl under the xlr. Driver or Passanger? Also is the shaft exposed or do I have to remove any cover to expose it?

fob Someone here is not paying attention to us. We can find lots of fobs for 2005 to 2009 but none & I mean none for a 2004. If someone out there has an outlet for the 2004 fob please reply & do not tell us 2004 owners you found one at dealer or GM parts. David J.
