Looking for article that explained using cd changer from srx in an xlr

Watching this one

Push button on off volumn not working......... the radio works fine using steering controls also changing stations on the push screen works.......nav is working.......cd will not take a disc and will not eject the cd in unit will not eject.......pushing the button that controls cd function not...

I have a 2004.....a friend and I were discussing rides and he asked if there were any recalls for this car.... After some research I found some....how do I find out if my car has actually been checked for any of these recalls...does general motors keep records of the individual vehicles...

Thanks.......lot of problems fixed now i have to find out what is wrong with sound system.....cd was cycling everytime I got in the car but radio would work......after disconnecting battery I dont hear the cd cycling and radio on off does nothing.....can see the time and nav screen...

I am thinking something should go on this

Question ......standing in the front of the car looking at engine about 3/4 of the way back on bank1 there is what looks a pipe sticking up with no plug or hose .......i am sure it have something attached or plugged

I am going to loosen intake bolts let the car sit for a couple of.days and then tighten but not gorilla tight......I dont have any torque specs

Service ride control fixed.....broken wire.......but....have a po171 lean code........always something

Just drove 133 miles.......everything seems ok........nextweek i am going to pull each wheel and check electrical connections......and try to find the ride adjuster bolts are and check their condition

Replaced both throttle body and gas pedal this weekend as well as spark plugs car is like lightning going down the road.......no scan tool needed ......only light I have now is service ride control.....no codes just the message.....going to try and fix that next

Spark plugs changed broke 3 coil connectors ....zip ties to the rescue....1/4 teaspoon of oil in #2and #7 coil well.....replaced cam sensors on bank 1..... replaced gas pedal.....replaced throttle body broke the connector ordered a new one and had to splice it in 6 wires.......hooked up battery...
