Upgraded from 04-07 Key Fob to 08-09 Key Fob

OK, seeing info on the MHz and chip now on some ebay items. But I'm also seeing some other fobs for 2008-2009 XLR. with a different GM# and different MHz (433MHz). Are ALL 2004-2005 XLR's for sure using only the 315 MHz?

Upgraded from 04-07 Key Fob to 08-09 Key Fob

Love it! Is there any reason you know of that this combination wouldn't work for a 2004? Looked around for a fob but not seeing anything in descriptions about the 315 MHz or the ID 46 Transponder Chip. If I get the 25926473 (Driver 1), 25926474 (Driver 2), does that mean I will have the proper...

    Magna shocks

For my driving style, i have no complaints at all on the ride quality. FYI, I also installed a C5 FE1 rear sway bar while i was down there.

    Magna shocks

UPDATE! - After additional discussions offline and based on the light duty, sunny weekend driving I will be doing with the XLR, it was recommended to try the cheap Amazon magrides for $240/pr of rears. I installed those, still have oem magride shocks on the front, have about 10 start cycles with...

radiator surge tank float doesn't float

The coolant overflow tank is fine. The low coolant switch mechanism is fine. But the float that actuates the switch is not floating. It just sinks and therefore makes the car think the fluid is too low. Anyone know of a way to fix that? No way that i know of to get to the float without...

    Magna shocks

Yes it does say FE2. I had no idea that FE2 meant magride until I started looking deeper into that after I asked. I will go the Rock Auto route. Thanks for your input!

    Magna shocks

I thought they looked legit as well. I saw RockAuto but their description for rear did NOT say anything about mag ride so I was unsure if that was the correct product. You think their rears are mag?

    Ready for a challenge!

My late Uncle gifted the car to me because he realized I would give it a great new home along side my other toys and have the patients to be able to keep it on the road to enjoy. It was a challenge just getting it to the point of transporting it here once the new garage bay was rain proof. I now...

    Magna shocks

I didn't realize OEM shocks were still available! Just now starting my adventure of being an XLR owner. I need rears for my 2004, so I looked on Aerosus and the OEM shock number they reference is 22248108 (along with several other numbers listed) which is different than what I currently have on...
