This is what started all my troubles, the variable assist electronics on the steering rack. It was one thing, then another, mostly due to the ineptitude of David Taylor, now Sterling McCall Cadillac in Houston.

Having a service contract won't help much when over half of the parts for the car aren't available.

Just a suggestion. If you intend on keeping your X, a TECH II is almost a required piece of equipment.

I believe a top relearn will solve that problem. Mine would act up about once a year with the same symptoms but a top relearn would fix it.

Not a bad idea, but when you get into an area with no cell service puts you in a bad position.

I bought the kit. It included everything needed for spot repairs. It does need to be feathered out past the spot repair for better blending
