Piqued my curiosity: what is the OnStar Digital Upgrade Module and what does it do?

At a casual glance it looks like a XLR-V. The mesh grille was a V exclusive, as were those wheels. But there's no V badge and that lump on the trunk for the antenna suggests it's pre-06 and someone's gone to some effort and money to make a base XLR look like a V.

I think any seller is obligated to demonstrate this to a new buyer.

Glad to hear OP got his ride worked out. What mileage do we need to look at for a changeout on shocks? Do they need to be replaced with MagnaRides?

I was kinda disappointed in Seinfeld's take, too, but it was great to see that beautiful blue XLR on the road.
