Congrats! You are for sure right about the '09s. They are rare and usually pricey.

Well, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. It certainly gives the model some exposure, but Hoovie's famous for his hoopties and this one's in that series. He shows how a previous owner duct-taped a fender! :giggle:

Thanks for the replies, guys. mickeytee, I'll be very interested to see what you get from the dealer. As regards shades of white--I've never been taken with the pearl whites. To me, it almost looks a bit beige. If I were switching, I'd want a straight-up real white.

Folks, here's something that puzzles me. I wanted to look up this white XLR in the registry, and found that the VIN shows as Black Raven. Could a previous owner have had it painted? Or is someting else at work here? The car has pretty much a blank registry record, so that's no help. Ad...

It would surely be fun! Although I doubt I could afford one. But realistically, it's somewhat amazing that Cadillac still has a couple of sedans, after Ford, Buick, & Lincoln abandoned them. A swoopy two-seater would be asking too much, alas. (I really like your car's name, BTW.)
